Ethics in Film

Ethics in Film is the Society's banner for film viewing and discussion programs that are organized under different themes.  Each program includes the showing of a film, followed by a thought-provoking discussion of the ethical issues raised by the film in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Ethics in Film: Science Fiction first friday of the month
Perhaps the most prominent fiction genre for exploring modern ethical concerns, science fiction is able to address topics that could not easily be examined if done from a realistic perspective.  Films are chosen from the science fiction cannon and include classics and modern films, blockbusters and lesser known titles.

Ethics in Film: Contemporary Documentaries monthly
Documentaries provide a platform for looking at the human condition with a critical eye, where we find that often true life stories can be more compelling than fiction.
