Kathleen O’Connell, PhD, RN, a valued member of the New York Society for Ethical Culture, is a psychologist and a nurse who teaches Health Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University.

She’ll discuss current theories and techniques for changing health-related behaviors. Such theories include self-control, using implementation intentions for improving your health, and how Pavlovian conditioning might affect you in your daily life.
